As part of Wyland's efforts to circumnavigate the globe for insights about the future health of our planet, Wyland traveled with a team of photographers, artists, and scientists to the Arctic 2015. Entitled "Elysium Artists of the Arctic" the three-week long project will chronicle the sights, sounds, and science behind the rapidly changing environment at the top of the world. In support of the project, Wyland created a commemorative painting entitled "Ice Bear", to promote awareness about the impacts of climate change to wildlife and habitat in on the plant's most awe-inspiring regions.
